RCM oil cooler kit

Additional engine-oil cooling for Subaru Impreza WRX and STI, including Spec C, 2008–2012.

• RCM1612: 10-row Setrab core with steel mounting bracket.
• RCM1613: 19-row Setrab core with steel mounting bracket.

Core and mounting

The black powder-coated steel bracket mounts behind the upper front grille using existing mounting points and clips. Pressed fixings and swaged holes provide the core mounting arrangement without drilling the body.

Setrab core working temperature: -40°C to 150°C. Supplier-rated burst pressure: 37 bar(g).

Pre-assembled oil lines

Goodridge -8 200 Series stainless-steel braided nitrile hose uses a seamless synthetic CPE inner, integral stainless braid and high-tensile outer braid. The lines include a silicone-covered protective sleeve and reusable alloy fittings.

• Sleeve operating temperature: -54°C to 260°C; short-term fire protection rated by the supplier to 1090°C.
• Fittings use Goodridge’s Triple Seal/Double O-ring nitrile cutter design and 360-degree swivel ends for alignment.

Thermostatic sandwich plate

The thermostat opens at 85°C. Adjustable line orientation supports twin-scroll, equal-length and unequal-length exhaust-manifold installations.

Two spare sensor ports are supplied with blanks. An extended union is included for the sandwich plate and oil filter.

For Impreza WRX/STI, including Spec C, 2008–2012. Select the required 10-row or 19-row steel-bracket option and check the intended installation before ordering.
